The Challenge
The Nieuwjaarsduik has grown into one of the largest Dutch traditions around New Year’s Day. The largest event takes place in Scheveningen, where 10.000 people gather along the shoreline to plunge into the cold water celebrating the beginning of a new year. Our goal? Help Unox to find committed volunteers and participants for the Nieuwjaarsduik 2019.
Concept & Solution
DesignBoard had been briefed to design a series of assets specifically for the Nieuwjaarsduik 2019. Similar to the year before it was key to stay in line with Unox and the Nieuwjaarsduik, leading to engaging results. Tailored to the heroes of 2019’s Nieuwjaarsduik.
Realisation
Specially for the Nieuwjaarsduik 2019 we have designed a wide array of assets such as: posters, certificates, narrowcasting and tickets of admittance. And of course the iconic can of Pea Soup, handed out to each contestant after diving into the ocean during the Nieuwjaarsduik 2019 in Scheveningen as a souvenir celebrating the event.
